Since Mum has been at Hatfield Lodge EMI/Residential Home she has become more like our mother, she laughs and has taken an interest in people again

Staff are very friendly and caring. Hatfield Lodge was my first preference following my own searches after I was failed by the council suggestions for a suitable care home. I feel at ease that my father-in-law is being well cared for and has taken a lot of the stress away in this stressful process.

The home is clean and well run. At no time have I had any cause for complaint to the management of the care that my wife receives. I am always told about the current state and of any treatment that she is having.

I am very happy staying at Whitfield care home. The food is very nice. They look after me very well. The people that live here are all very good, they really make my day.

My mother come to the home and it took her a while to settle as she had a very quiet living on her own in a small village. Every effort was made to give her a quieter time, she was also encouraged to make a friend of another resident. Staff provided excellent care, giving her privacy and encouraging her to join in the activities on offer, which were very varied and regular.

I have found the home welcoming and providing a high standard of care and attention to the residents and visitors. The atmosphere always feels happy and relaxed and minor problems/upsets are dealt with seamlessly in a professional and easy going way. The staff have worked very hard to get mum to settle and after some difficulties their hard work has paid off.
