About Whitfield Residential

Whitfield is a vibrant and friendly home designed to provide exceptional care for individuals with dementia needs. Nestled in the peaceful village of Whitfield, this residential home offers a unique blend of tranquility and community. Just a short drive away from the bustling port town of Dover, residents can enjoy easy access to local amenities and attractions while still experiencing the calm and supportive environment that Whitfield has to offer.

Whitfield provides care for up to 30 older residents who have dementia-related illnesses. The home offers 26 bedrooms, some of which include en-suite facilities, along with 3 double rooms ideal for couples or friends. Accommodation is spread across two floors, accessible by two stairways and a shaft lift.

At Whitfield, we believe that every day should be filled with purpose and activity. Our dedicated activities co-ordinator works closely with residents to tailor engaging sessions that cater to their interests and needs. From gentle exercises and hobbies, to outings and visits, our community is vibrant and welcoming. We regularly visit local attractions, treating our clients to everything from shows at local theatres to visits to local wildlife parks. Our aim is to create lasting memories, foster a sense of connection, and provide a stimulating environment that promotes mental and emotional well-being.
